This is an extremely "practical" and useful mixer circuit. It has all that a wandering musician could ever want.
The inputs have two Stereo Audio Inputs for Cassette or CD players. This means the musician can record tracks (such as accompanying instrumentals) onto a Cassette tape, or CD and play them while he/she plays their own instrument.
Naturally, the Stereo Inputs can be used by a Disc Jockey (DJ) to play CD's or pre recorded tapes from a cassette deck as well.
The two mono-Inputs provide an input source for an amplified microphone input. There is a pan control provided to allow for panning from right to left channel. You will notice that there are two mono inputs (for say "two" vocals). This allows for positioning of the two vocals acoustically apart in the output audio signal.
Naturally, to provide for microphone inputs, you will need to place a mic preamp stage in the inputs that are going to be fed by the
microphone. Microphones tend to have lower sound level outputs that the Line Levels that this mixer is designed for. But
this is a "simple" endeavor for you if you are technically inclined (and are reading this website page). Right???
