Welcome
to the Electronic Design Systems Homepage. Our company was founded by
Dave Mason while stationed at Luke Air Force Base near Phoenix Arizona -
in the year 1977. Originally, Clock Circuit kits, and Audio Color Organ
Kits were fabricated and sold. Audio Electronics were later added, and
while stationed at Luke Air Force Base Dave teamed up with three partners
and they built custom Quad Stereo equipment. Their centerpieced product
was a Quad 35W R.M.S. Stereo Receiver that utilized the CBS Quad-Stereo decoder
chipset. There were only 375 units produced and sold with the EDSys Logo
and Trademark in the local Phoenix, Arizona market. To our knowledge
only three remain and their owners swear by them. Our Site is basically made up of fifteen sections: Section One(1): Basic Circuitry. Section Two (2) Advanced Circuitry. Section Three (3) Design and Prototyping Basics. Section Four (4): PC Board Design and Layout. Section Five (5): Clock and Timer circuitry. Section Six (6): Audio Pre-Amps. Section Seven (7): Audio Filters and Equalizers. Section Eight (8): Audio Power and Driver Amps. Section Nine (9): Hi-Power Audio Amps. Section Ten (10): Pro Audio Preamps and Driver Amps. Section Eleven (11): Pro Adio Equalizers and Special Effects. Section Twelve (11): Robotics Circuitry. Section Thirteen (13): Light and Controller circuitry. Section Fourteen (14): Computer circuitry. The final section Section Fifteen (15) is for other circuitry that does not fit into any of the categories above. We like to call these Gadgets and Gizmos.
