Hilde is a native of Argentina (the southern most country on the planet earth) Argentina occupies the Eastern Coast of South America. Argentina extends southward into the Antarctic Circle (for those who flunked Geography - the Antactic is the region of the South Pole).

The climate in South America is the "opposite" of our climate. The season's are reversed. Summer in the united States is Winter in Argentina. While we have a desire for "White Christmases'" Argentina has Green Trees and Flowers (because they are in summer, while we are in winter). It's not really so bad, we have 3-months of summer in the Norther Hemisphere, and Argentina has Five Months of Summer (October - thru - February).
Hilde came to the United States back in 1981 and is an American Citizen. She has owned this hot dog stand since 1986.
